Call for Mentors: ACRL ULS On-the-Fly Mentoring Program at ALA Midwinter 2020

Posted on December 30, 2019 by Eric Edwards

(via Susan Schreiner, Grays Harbor College)

Want to help someone new to the profession, or more experienced but seeking your wisdom? Sign up to be a mentor!

The University Library Section (ULS) Membership Committee is providing its “On-the-Fly” Mentoring Service, which allows a mentee to talk with a mentor for a 20-minute session, on a drop-in basis. We need experienced librarians to help those new to the profession, or looking for career advice.

Based in the Placement Center at the Philadelphia Convention Center, the service is available during these windows of time:

Saturday, January 25:  9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Sunday, January 26:  1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

At Midwinter 2019, we had a great turnout of people wanting to be mentored but only a few mentors. Please consider sharing your time and expertise!

Mentors, please sign up here today.
