To make the appointments process more transparent, the ACRL Membership Committee invites all new members and anyone who would like to get more involved in ACRL to join us on Tuesday, December 10 at 1:00 pm CST for a free online forum explaining how the ACRL committee appointment process works. Moderator Rachel Minkin, along with panelists ACRL President Karen Munro, Peter Hepburn (Community and Junior College Section past-chair), Mary Snyder (Librarianship in For-Profit Educational Institutions Interest Group convener) and Ray Pun (Leadership Discussion Group convener), will explain how to volunteer for division-level committees, section committees, and interest and discussion groups.
