Terms are for one year, and responsibilities include regular\u00a0<span class=\"x_gmail-il\">executive<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"x_gmail-il\">committee<\/span>\u00a0meetings and some committee work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Curious about exactly what kind of committee work this group does? Per the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ila.org\/forum\/1\/illinois-association-of-college-research-libraries-forum-iacrl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">IACRL website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The Executive Committee shall manage the affairs of the association. The Executive Committee shall receive and discuss ideas, develop recommendations to present to the assembly, plan the schedule of meetings, and perform other duties as needed. The Executive Committee shall periodically review the charge, structure, and function of all committees.
