The Association of College and Research Libraries – Science & Technology Section – Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the\u00a02019\u00a0Oberly\u00a0Award for Bibliography in the Agricultural and Natural Sciences<\/strong>\u00a0for the best English-language bibliography in the field of agriculture or a related science.<\/p>\n Eligible works include English-language print or electronic bibliographies in any format in the field of agriculture or a related science published during 2017-2018. Bibliographies may be a monograph, a completed series viewed as a body of work, or an ongoing publication. Submissions will be judged on accuracy, scope, usefulness, format, and special features such as explanatory introductions, annotations, and indexes.<\/p>\n Recipients of the\u00a0Oberly\u00a0Award will receive a cash award and a plaque, funded by an endowment created by individuals and vendor contributions.<\/p>\n Nominations for the 2019 award will be accepted until\u00a0December 7, 2018<\/strong>. Submissions should be made in the form of a letter pointing out the reason the bibliography should be considered.
