Early registration and hotel reservations for the Health Science Librarians of Illinois Annual Conference have begun and will end Wednesday, September 12<\/b><\/span>th<\/sup><\/b><\/span>. After that date, there will be a $25 late fee assessed to register, and you may not be able to reserve a room in the HSLI block.\u202f\u00a0<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please follow this link for <\/span>online Conference registration using PayPal,<\/span><\/a> or you may download the PDF form\u00a0from the registration page and mail it, with a check payable to HSLI. You will be able to sign up for your Conference CEs, the mentor\/mentee program, food choices, and dietary restrictions. Please refer to the registration form for the various rates and options. Notes: Continuing-education courses are included in the cost of registration, and there is a $6.00 surcharge for registering online.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To book your hotel stay at <\/span>The Cliffbreakers Hotel & Conference Center<\/span><\/a>, you must call 1-815-282-3033.\u202f By mentioning that you are part of the “Health Science Librarians” group, you will receive the lodging rate of $109 per night, plus taxes\/fees (total: $124.26\/night for double Queen or Jr. King) and be part of the HSLI official block of hotel rooms. The hotel is located at 700 W. Riverside Blvd, Rockford, IL 61103. Notes: Registering via the hotel’s online site, instead of by phone, will not guarantee the Conference room rate.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2018 Health Science Librarians of Illinois Annual Conference will take place from Wednesday, September 26, to Friday, September 28. The Conference, with its theme, “Rivers of Data, Streams of Knowledge”, will feature continuing-education opportunities, invited speakers, poster sessions and lightning talks, and a vendor showcase, along with networking opportunities for library and information science professionals and students alike.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
