The Program is focused on preparing emerging leaders for the position of library director in academic health sciences libraries. The application deadline is\u00a0<b>Friday, June 15<\/b>. More details are below<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Fellows:<\/b>\u00a0Candidates for Fellow should have a strong interest in pursuing a directorship in academic health sciences libraries, as well as prior management experience. The program welcomes applications from professionals working in academic health sciences libraries, hospital libraries, or other library-related settings. Applications from qualified minority candidates are encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mentors:<\/b>\u00a0Directors with four to five years&#8217; experience as director of an academic health sciences library should indicate preliminary interest in being matched as a mentor by contacting the Leadership Fellows Program Director at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:plthibodeau@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">plthibodeau@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0by June 15.<\/p>\n<p>More information on program design, the program schedule, and the application can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aahsl.memberclicks.net\/assets\/documents\/2018\/aahsl_2019_nlm_leadership_fellows_program_brochure_and_application_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.
