July 19-20, 2018<\/span><\/b> – Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado will host the 2018<\/b><\/span> Library Instruction West<\/b> (LIW, formerly LOEX of the West<\/span>) conference. We are very excited to be the site and the organizers of such a great, small conference focused on library instruction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Keynoter \/ Pre-Conference: <\/b>Maria Konnikova<\/a>\u00a0will be our LIW<\/span> 2018<\/span> keynoter and pre-conference (Wednesday, July 18) leader! Maria is a science blogger for The New Yorker<\/a><\/i>, author of The Confidence Game<\/i>, and author of Mastermind: How to Think Like Sherlock Holmes<\/i> (bio: http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/liw2018key<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
