The Marijuana Justice Act of 2017, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/115th-congress\/senate-bill\/1689?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22s1689%22%5D%7D&amp;r=1\">S. 1689<\/a>, would shift drug enforcement away from marijuana prosecution. Funds saved would, in part, be channeled to community grant funding opportunities for public library programming.
