We invite your submissions about the following topics.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>active learning techniques<\/li>\n<li>learning object creation<\/li>\n<li>student learning outcomes &amp; pedagogy<\/li>\n<li>assessment<\/li>\n<li>instructional design (universal, backward, accessibility, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>instruction for special populations (e.g., faculty, international students, administrators, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submissions should take one of the following forms.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>short articles of 250-500 words on any aspect of instruction or information literacy<\/li>\n<li>annotated bibliographies or recommended reading lists of 250-500 words on any instruction or info lit issues<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;bytes&#8221;, which are tweet-length announcements of 10-200 characters with links to further information or visual assets; bytes may include reports on committee, liaison, discussion group, and conference program activity; award opportunities, nominations, and recipients; promotions about publications or tools; or advertisements describing upcoming events, webinars, conferences, workshops, courses, and virtual discussion series<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please send submissions to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:instructionsectionnewsletter@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">instructionsectionnewsletter@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>Thursday, September 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(via the ACRL Instruction Section) The\u00a0ACRL Instruction Section Newsletter\u00a0is soliciting content.
