Registration for the next offering of “Systematic Reviews: Opportunities for Librarians” will open on Monday, July 10, at 11:00 AM CST.\u00a0<\/b>Registration is capped at 20 participants. This session will be held online between\u00a0Monday, October 30\u00a0<\/strong>and Wednesday,\u00a0<\/b>November 15<\/b>, and it will then finish in person on\u00a0Thursday, November 16, and Friday, November 17<\/b>\u00a0at the Taubman Health Sciences Library at the University of Michigan. Upon completion, the course is worth 20 CE credits. A brief description of the class’s content and structure is below.<\/p>\n The course provides information professionals with foundational knowledge about systematic reviews and an opportunity to engage in high-level discussions with other librarians about our involvement in such projects. The class runs on a flipped classroom model where didactic material is presented in an asynchronous online format over a period of two weeks. Following the two-week online curriculum, you’ll join us at University of Michigan’s Taubman Health Sciences Library for a two-day intensive workshop. Through hands-on experience with resources, activities, and discussions, you’ll develop a toolkit of resources and strategies, and an action plan to take back to your home institution for greater involvement in systematic reviews.<\/p>\n
