This will be the first one held in Chicago. I am sure many of you would like the opportunity to talk with our state legislators about libraries. For more about how these Meet-Ups work, see this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ila.org\/publications\/ila-reporter\/article\/29\/rising-to-the-occasion-legislative-meet-ups-move-into-central-illinois\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a>\u00a0by our colleague Sue Franzen of ISU.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We need volunteers to help organize the event. There is only one public library in the area covered, so we don&#8217;t have a wide variety of those colleagues to draw on.
