The 2017 meeting will take place on\u00a0<strong>Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9<\/strong>, at the the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/doubletree3.hilton.com\/en\/hotels\/illinois\/doubletree-by-hilton-hotel-chicago-oak-brook-CHIOADT\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DoubleTree by Hilton<\/a>\u00a0in Oak Brook, IL.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">This conference is an opportunity for individuals working in resource-sharing to trade information and network with other colleagues. Watch for updates on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/glrsc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conference website<\/a>, and connect with us on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GreatLakesResourceSharingConference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GLRSC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Do you have a new idea or success story to share?<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>We are accepting program proposals through\u00a0<strong>Friday, January 13<\/strong>, on any of the following topic areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">resource-sharing best practices<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">marketing services<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">electronic resources and resource-sharing<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">workflow improvements<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">cooperative collection development<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">consortial or group purchasing<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">purchase on demand<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">reciprocal borrowing<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">shared staffing and training<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">shared discovery layers<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">e-books<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">resource-sharing in next-gen systems<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">shared print projects<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">open educational resources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposed presentations can take the form of either a break-out session (45 minutes in length) or a lightning talk (15 minutes in length), with each including time for questions. Each proposal submission should include a title, description (75 words, maximum), and abstract (250 words, maximum).\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">The online submission form is available\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSf_scOpXKm2zkNrY1tOH8BEASCNgbg75oUQjjnLw5z7kA11Mw\/viewform?c=0&amp;w=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">P<\/span><span class=\"s1\">rogram proposals will be reviewed by the program committee, with selected presenters notified by\u00a0<strong>Friday, February 17<\/strong>. Accepted presenters will have the opportunity, but will not be obligated, to publish a version of their conference presentation in a special issue of the\u00a0<em>Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery, &amp; Electronic Reserve<\/em>.
