The Association of College and Research Libraries is now accepting nominations for the ACRL Academic\/Research Librarian of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes an outstanding member of the library profession who has made a significant national or international contribution to academic or research librarianship and library development.<\/p>\n<p>The award, sponsored by YBP Library Services, comes with a plaque and a $5,000 award. Electronic submissions are required. Applicants must submit a nomination form and supporting documents via e-mail to Chase Ollis, at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:collis@ala.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">collis@ala.org<\/a>. The nomination form must be completed in its entirety.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations must be received by\u00a0<strong>Friday, December 2<\/strong>, to receive full consideration.
