The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mlanet.org\/p\/cm\/ld\/fid=900&amp;source=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call for submissions<\/a>\u00a0provides information on how to submit your abstract. Similar to last year, you will rank how you prefer to present your content-paper, poster, or lightning talk. Also new are special content sessions. Groups such as sections, chapters, special interest groups (SIGs), and others are invited to submit proposals for these engaging 1.5-hour-long sessions.<\/p>\n<p>When submitting your structured abstract, please specify whether your abstract is a research abstract or a program description abstract.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>research abstracts report on designing, conducting, and analyzing a research project<\/li>\n<li>program description abstracts describe the creation and improvement of products, programs, technologies, administrative practices, or services conducted by librarians and information professionals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please select carefully, as different criteria will be used to assess the two kinds of abstracts. All criteria for both kinds of abstracts are available in the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mlanet.org\/page\/faq-paper-and-poster?source=5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Papers, Posters, and Lightning Talks FAQs<\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Abstracts and proposals must be submitted using the online\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conferenceabstracts.com\/cfp2\/login.asp?EventKey=KZLACNNC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contributed content submission form<\/a>. Submissions are due\u00a0<strong>Monday, October 10<\/strong>, at\u00a0<strong>6:00 PM CST<\/strong>.
