That&#8217;s right, we&#8217;re down to just five days! It&#8217;s time to submit your proposal!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unfamiliar with what the Access Services Conference is all about, you should feel free to peruse the website. In a nutshell, however, it is a fantastic event that allows individuals working in all areas of access services a chance to present their work, discuss ideas, mix, mingle, network, collaborate, and connect with like-minded cohorts. Also, there is more Coca-Cola than you could possibly drink in two lifetimes.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia,\u00a0<strong>from November 16 to 18<\/strong>, at the Global Learning Center and Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, and you still have a chance to get in on the action by submitting your proposal today! We are accepting program and poster proposals until\u00a0<strong>Friday, May 6, 2016, at 5:00 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Accepted presentations should be able to fit within a 45-minute segment, including time for questions. Posters will be presented in a dedicated poster-session. Proposals might focus on any of the following areas: customer service, interlibrary loan, consortia agreements, electronic resources, leadership and team building, marketing, course reserves, security and safety, space management, stacks maintenance, student employee management, technology for access services enhancement. . . or, like, a whole bunch of other great topics. In short, if you&#8217;re doing interesting and exciting work (and, trust me, you are), we want to hear about it. Submit your proposal today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal Guidelines:<\/strong>\u00a0Please submit an abstract-150 or fewer words -with the program or poster title and your name. Presentation and poster proposals will be reviewed by the program committee, and those presenters who are selected will be notified\u00a0<strong>by May 27, 2016<\/strong>.
