Does your library already have a makerspace area, or is it considering creating one? Need to know the latest gizmos that libraries can include in a makerspace? Be sure to register for the &#8220;Makerspaces: Inspiration and Action&#8221; tour, sponsored by the Library Information and Technology Association. The exhibit will consist of 40,000 square feet of various displays, featuring everything from printing presses to lightsabers. There will also be a large number of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) devices.<\/p>\n<p>The event will last all day on <strong>Friday, January 8<\/strong>.
