Campus housing will also be available July 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This immersive conference offers librarians an opportunity to learn about current research advancements in science. The Great Lakes Science Boot Camp will strive to cultivate an ongoing learning community of librarians providing research support for scientists. Details will be added to our <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/greatlakessbc\/home\">website<\/a>&nbsp;as they are determined.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Register to attend the in-person portion <a href=\"https:\/\/indianauniv.ungerboeck.com\/prod\/emc00\/register.aspx?aat=414a7a61703632346e46493772726b74737a416778653750484c69446769556852652f494d2f63666345383d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. There will be a mix of programming, including some lightning talks\u2014stay tuned for the call for proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details will be added to our <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/greatlakessbc\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>\u00a0as they are determined. Registration for the virtual day will be <strong>free<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This event is being co-hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/alaoweb.org\/stemig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Academic Library Association of Ohio\u2019s (ALAO) STEM Interest Group<\/a>. Great Lakes Science Bootcamp is now taking submissions for 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year we are excited to offer options to present either in-person or online.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The in-person lightning talks will be presented July 8, 9, and 10 on the Indiana University Bloomington campus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The virtual lightning talks will be presented July 13 on Zoom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please submit a proposal <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdBkd2uU2MFWZwZp-F8bdxhzWriW3ZYB0uKkeM9VNyOtwaoeA\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. Proposals for either format are to be submitted by <strong>Friday, April 10<\/strong>, and you will be informed of acceptance by Friday, May 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If for some reason you submit a proposal and need to change your proposal from in-person to virtual, or vice versa, you need to let us know by Friday, April 10.
