The book is entitled <em>Health Sciences Library Instruction: Scenarios for Scalable Design<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Book<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Health Sciences Library Instruction: Scenarios for Scalable Design<\/em> is designed for librarians with teaching responsibilities in the health sciences and related areas.&nbsp;This book explores the ways that librarians have adapted instructional approaches to address constantly evolving educational needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our focus is on practical examples and strategies for designing adaptable and scalable instruction materials, especially those working with limited resources. We aim to provide a resource that helps health sciences librarians extend the reach of their programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are looking for chapters describing the process of developing new instruction sessions or resources, with specific attention to how the new instructional offerings have been adapted or scaled from existing content\/materials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples may include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Orientation sessions\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course-integrated lessons\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-demand instructional resources\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incorporating emerging topics into instruction\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced or expert-level instruction\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train the trainer instruction&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instruction for community visitors&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please submit proposals using this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScbBLT3lm6qV0c4qR5uHgxRtIUeRGH5mtGb49o8e__qGkB6WQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">form<\/a> by\u00a0<strong>Tuesday, March 31<\/strong>. The proposal should include\u00a0a brief description of your instructional activity and process for adapting it.\u00a0Additional\u00a0details, including a template and sample chapter are available <a href=\"https:\/\/hslguides.med.nyu.edu\/Scenarios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are open to suggestions beyond the categories listed above.
