As we begin a new one, it\u2019s time to renew your HSLI membership in our member-driven organization. This is also a great opportunity to reflect on what you hope to gain from your membership in the year ahead. If there are topics you\u2019d like to explore or learn more about, I\u2019d love to hear your suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had a very successful panel presentation, \u201cWhat I Wish I Had Known: Evidence Synthesis Edition&#8221;, on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CST, with 138 participants in attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A heartfelt thank\u2011you to our moderator, Rosie Hanneke (University of Illinois Chicago), and to our panelists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Anna Liss Jacobsen, University of Illinois Urbana\u2013Champaign<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holly Hudson, University of Illinois<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elizabeth Huggins, Loyola University Chicago<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A special thank\u2011you to Elizabeth Huggins for organizing this outstanding session!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our next ad hoc presentation, \u201cReviews in Flux: Navigating the Evidence Synthesis Landscape,\u201d is scheduled for Monday, March 23, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT. If you would like to request or host an additional ad hoc presentation, please feel free to reach out to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are searching for a stronger community connection, please consider attending the informal \u201cCoffee and Conversation\u201d gatherings that Secretary Frances Drone-Silver (Frances.drone-silvers @ carle.com) graciously hosts. There is no agenda, and these networking opportunities are not recorded. She invites you to bring your wins, losses, and challenges to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Save the date! Our annual conference will be held virtually from September 29 to October 1. We are working hard to ensure this year\u2019s event is just as successful and meaningful as previous conferences. More details will be shared soon. We look forward to having you join us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in volunteering to support HSLI, please reach out to me. The position of Treasurer will be opening this summer, and I anticipate a few additional opportunities as well.
