For&nbsp;RTI &#8217;26, RTI is expanding its curriculum by adding new content areas and faculty expertise to address emerging needs in health sciences information research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning in 2026, RTI will introduce four new educational areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>AI in research<\/strong>&#8211;taught by Alex Carroll (Vanderbilt University)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research reproducibility<\/strong>&#8211;taught by Melissa Rethlefsen (University of New Mexico)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research impact<\/strong>&#8211;taught by <strong>Karen Gutzman (Northwestern University)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Survey validation<\/strong>&#8211;taught by Mark MacEachern (University of Michigan)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These new modules build on RTI&#8217;s established strengths in rigorous, mentored research training, preparing participants to conduct ethically grounded, methodologically sound, and impactful research.
