It will take place online Friday, February 13, at 1:00 PM CDT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drawing on James Lang\u2019s\u00a0Small Teaching<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Small Teaching Online<\/em>\u00a0(with Flower Darby), this session explores how small, intentional changes to course design and teaching practices can have a meaningful impact on student learning. In “Small Teaching: Cataloging Edition”, Dr. Karen Snow, Professor in the School of Information Studies at Dominican University, introduces selected small teaching strategies through the lens of cataloging and metadata instruction. Participants will explore practical, low-stakes approaches that support student engagement, reflection, and skill development\u2014without requiring a complete course redesign.
