As President-Elect of ILA, and this year co-leading with my amazing co-chairs, Jessica Silva and Heather Jagman, alongside a wonderfully diverse group of library advocates, I wanted to make sure this message reaches everyone, including colleagues who may not have an institutional or personal ILA membership, and therefore don\u2019t always receive ILA e-mails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s Conference theme is\u00a0“Fired Up & Ready to Go: For All Illinois Libraries!<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether you are part of a large urban system, a small rural library, an academic library, a school library, or a special library, we want to learn more about how you are accomplishing one or more of the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Building meaningful community connections,<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Ensuring equitable access,<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Demonstrating your library\u2019s relevance and impact, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Solidifying your role as a vital community resource hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please consider submitting a Program proposal here<\/a>. Lightning Talks are fast-paced, 10-minute presentations designed to share ideas of any size.
