Its audience is librarians in all types of libraries and vendors of products, services, and systems that support library digital services. Its focus is on current practices, techniques, processes, and information on events in the field. <em>Against the Grain <\/em>is a down-to-earth, practice-orientated library journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ideas for upcoming &#8220;Biz of Digital&#8221; articles include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workflows to determine what rights you have and need to obtain for your digital special collections or repository\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your library&#8217;s copyright assistance and education programs\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interesting projects assisting patrons in obtaining rights for materials to include in specific digital projects, papers, or videos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feel free to choose any of these topics, or one of your own. Theoretical articles, research reports, &#8220;how-to&#8221; articles, case studies, literature reviews and conceptual or opinion pieces are welcome. Article length should be approximately 1200-1500 words (4-5 pages, double-spaced).
