This webinar will help you gain a basic understanding of cognitive load theory and how it can be applied to one-shot library instruction sessions to enhance learning through a combination of direct instruction, examples, and a collaborative activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By understanding how our brains process and store information, we can design instruction that is easier for learners to digest and assimilate into long-term memory, thus potentially reducing the risk of overwhelming students and enhancing overall learning outcomes.
