And yet, we still know very little about how&nbsp;<em>library workers themselves<\/em>&nbsp;are experiencing this shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help fill this gap, Ava Wallace and I are conducting a national survey&nbsp;on how librarians and library staff are navigating AI learning, upskilling, workplace expectations, and ethical concerns&nbsp;across all types of libraries. Ava Wallace and I invite colleagues from&nbsp;<em>every<\/em>&nbsp;role and background&#8211;from deeply-engaged AI users to those who prefer not to use AI at all&#8211;to share their experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What the survey explores<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How AI intersects with:<br>\u2022 Access to professional development<br>\u2022 Workplace culture and institutional expectations<br>\u2022 Confidence, agency, and ethical reflection<br>\u2022 Peer learning, mentorship, and community support<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your insights will help shape future AI training, ethics-focused professional development, and inclusive, people-centered implementation&nbsp;across the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time Commitment: 10\u201312 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Open:<\/strong> Saturday, November 13 \u2013 <strong>Friday, December 19, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your voice matters&#8211;whether you&#8217;re excited about AI, cautious about it, overwhelmed by it, or actively avoiding it.
