Know a Health Science Librarians of Illinois member who has made a lasting difference in the organization? Consider nominating the person for the 2025 Starfish Thrower Award! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
First presented in 2000, the Starfish Thrower Award is based on the story of the child who \u201cmakes a difference\u201d by throwing stranded starfish back into the ocean, one at a time. Thus, the Award recognizes the efforts and contributions of an individual HSLI member toward the good of the organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To nominate an HSLI colleague, or to nominate yourself, please complete the nomination form<\/a>, no later than Friday, October 31<\/strong>.
