These grants seek to advance one of the core strategic values of the ILA Strategic Plan: \u201cDiversity and equity of opportunity\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three $2,000 stipends (awarded upfront, no reimbursement) will be awarded to librarians and library staff who have faced structural barriers to national participation, including those eligible for the ALA&#8217;s Spectrum Scholarships, people with disabilities, people who identify as LGBTQUIA+, and rural librarians or library staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The deadline for the first round of applications is <strong>Friday, November 21<\/strong>.
