It will take place on <strong>Thursday, October 9, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM CDT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Communicating expectations for students\u2019 performance on research assignments can be challenging, because students, as novice researchers, and instructors, as more experienced research, can seem to be speaking a different language. The Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) Framework provides a three-part model which instructors can use to clarify their expectations on student assignments. The presentation will provide an overview of the TILT framework and demonstrate how instructors can use TILT to outline their expectations and provide students with the guidance needed to be successful on research assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presenter is Jane Hammons, Teaching &amp; Learning Engagement Librarian for The Ohio State University Libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register, please go <a href=\"https:\/\/osu.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_1dvzIYmhTSmQdzy49MMWAA#\/registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. All are welcome to attend.
