Registration is open for the NNLM webinar “Preparing Your Library for Weather Emergencies”. It will take place on Friday, September 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CDT<\/strong>. Attendees will learn how to assess potential environmental threats, create a site-specific disaster preparedness plan, and assemble emergency kits. The session will also provide guidance on first response actions during weather-related and other environmental emergencies, helping participants build confidence and take proactive steps toward preparedness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The speaker is JoAnn Zeise, Curator of the Waring Historical Library at the Medical University of South Carolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The course is worth 1.00 hour of MLA CE credit.
