These are elected positions that serve as part of the Chapters Council Executive Committee. The Vice-Chair\/Chair-Elect serves as Chair during their second year on the Council, and as Past Chair during their third year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While nominees are being solicited for both Secretary and Vice-Chair\/Chair-Elect, we ask that you consider nominees for Vice-Chair\/Chair-Elect, in particular. Be sure to obtain the consent of any individuals you may choose to nominate. Also, please feel free to nominate yourself! This is a great opportunity to become more involved in your state&#8217;s ACRL chapter and to serve in a leadership role with ACRL.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Candidates are encouraged to reach out to current Vice-Chair\/Chair-Elect Gary Marks, Jr. (<a href=\"mailto:MARKSG@wpunj.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MARKSG@wpunj.edu<\/a>), by <strong>Thursday, May\u00a022<\/strong>.
