 Since September of 2022, when ACM published the article, many organizations have promoted the idea of citational justice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Medical Library Association Public Policy Center published a blog post on June 23, 2023 and updated on August 24, 2023, by Breanne Crumpton and Mark Coltrain, entitled \u201cPromoting Citational Justice in Health Sciences\u201d. Access it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question One<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would the Executive leadership of your institution support creation of resources, such as LibGuides and blogs, that highlight the issue of citational justice?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question Two<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How might the issue be introduced to students and to faculty?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question Three<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Has your institution considered the idea of \u201cdiversity audits,\u201d which might include oral histories of scholars or promoting the work of diverse colleagues?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question Four<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

How might individual health science librarians help library patrons become more aware of the idea of citational justice, such as during one-on-one consultations?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
