The Illinois College of Optometry Library<\/strong> is pleased to offer a subscription to its proprietary VisionCite <\/em>journal citation database to all HSLI institutional members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n VisionCite <\/em>Journal Article Citation Database<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n VisionCite<\/em> is a citation database of vision-related journal articles developed and maintained by the Illinois College of Optometry Library. It now includes over 425,000 citations<\/strong> from the later 1980\u2019s through 2024. Articles from 114 medical, ophthalmic, optic, optometric, and other vision-related journal subscriptions are indexed by the ICO Library. Approximately 12,000 new entries are added each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is recommended that VisionCIte <\/em>is used in conjunction with PubMed to ensure more complete accessibility. Institutions will be asked to provide their IP ranges (including EZProxy and Open Athens) to activate a subscription. Your users will be granted access without having to log into the interface. If linking is from your website or from LibGuides, a URL prefix will be needed for off campus access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are offering an annual <\/strong>institution membership for the low price of $1,500 for unlimited access <\/strong>to your constituents.
