Its audience is librarians in all types of libraries and vendors of products, services, and systems that support library digital services. Its focus is on current practices, techniques, processes, and information on events in the field. <em>Against the Grain <\/em>is a down-to-earth, practice-orientated library journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ideas for upcoming \u201cBiz of Digital\u201d articles include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reports on interesting scholarly communication, digital collections, or institutional repository activities or projects at your institution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An overview of your library\u2019s activities in scholarly communication, digital collections, digital repositories, or digital scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting and encouraging open access, open peer review, open textbooks, open research, or open science at your university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The evolving scholarly communication landscape and its impact on your library and university<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The impact or potential impact of ChatGPT and other tools and apps on scholarly communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The impact of federal funder mandates on scholarly communication, your university, or your library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feel free to choose any of these topics, or one of your own. Theoretical articles, research reports, \u201chow-to\u201d articles, case studies, literature reviews and conceptual or opinion pieces are welcome.
