What is the (un)ethical relationship between data and self-embodiment? How do information and data (de)construct individuality online, in business, or in everyday life?<\/p>\n<p><u>Areas of exploration could include, but are not limited to<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The intersection of gender, sexuality, race, and other markers of identity with information\/data<\/li>\n<li>Algorithmic bias or technological identity politics<\/li>\n<li>Consumerism, targeted advertisements, and neoliberalism<\/li>\n<li>Social media&#8217;s role in misinformation and reality distortion<\/li>\n<li>Extended, augmented, or virtual reality&#8217;s impact on self-embodiment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The deadline for abstracts (300-500 words) is\u00a0<b>Wednesday, February 15<\/b>, and authors will be notified of acceptance by\u00a0<b>Wednesday, February 22<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for full articles is\u00a0<b>Monday, May 15<\/b>. Manuscripts should be 10 to 20 double-spaced pages, plus references.\u00a0Please do not use footnotes or number the references.\u00a0Include your abstract, brief author biography, and mailing and email addresses in final submissions.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions must be in English and follow APA\u00a0(American Psychological Association) or MLA (Modern Language Association) style guidelines.
