The publication\u00a0Journal of Information Ethics<\/i>\u00a0seeks papers for a special Fall 2023 issue that will address how identity intersects with data and information ethics.<\/p>\n
We welcome articles and columns that touch upon the following questions: How do issues of identity complicate, inflame, or disrupt the dissemination of information? What is the (un)ethical relationship between data and self-embodiment? How do information and data (de)construct individuality online, in business, or in everyday life?<\/p>\n
Areas of exploration could include, but are not limited to<\/u>:<\/p>\n Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n The deadline for abstracts (300-500 words) is\u00a0Wednesday, February 15<\/b>, and authors will be notified of acceptance by\u00a0Wednesday, February 22<\/b>.<\/p>\n The deadline for full articles is\u00a0Monday, May 15<\/b>. Manuscripts should be 10 to 20 double-spaced pages, plus references.\u00a0Please do not use footnotes or number the references.\u00a0Include your abstract, brief author biography, and mailing and email addresses in final submissions.<\/p>\n All submissions must be in English and follow APA\u00a0(American Psychological Association) or MLA (Modern Language Association) style guidelines. Accepted authors will receive a hard copy of the issue and a $50.00 (USD) honorarium.<\/p>\n\n
