A task force has been established with the goal of reviving the Midwest Chapter of REFORMA (The National Association to Promote Library &amp; Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking), which includes Illinois!<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Our goal is to complete our mission by spring 2023. Currently, we are reviewing the chapter&#8217;s bylaws, setting up social media and communication paths, and meeting monthly. Next steps include the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Communicating with existing members<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Seeking input from members<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Soliciting candidates<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Holding elections<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Elected chapter president holding first meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">More work needs to be done, but we wanted to keep you informed of our progress. As we move through each step, we will provide updates.
