Wednesday&#8217;s activities will take place in the late afternoon and will either be recorded or reprised later in the event in recognition of Yom Kippur. <strong>On-site sessions will take place at the University of Notre Dame<\/strong>, with 30 seats available for campus participants. Virtual participation will take place via Zoom.<\/p>\n<p>The Midwest Data Librarian Symposium is intended to provide librarians who support research data management and research data services the chance to network and expand their research data-related knowledge base and skill sets. MDLS 2022 is open to all who wish to attend, including those from the Midwest and beyond, as well as librarians in training.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Answers to FAQs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The greater data community&#8211;not limited to data librarians&#8211;is invited to submit session proposals for consideration for this year&#8217;s event. Presenters from all disciplines and regions are welcome to apply,\u00a0as are\u00a0librarians-in-training.<\/li>\n<li>In-person attendance is not required to present a session.<\/li>\n<li>Proposals are due <strong>by 11:59 PM CDT on Wednesday, August 24<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/mwdatalibrariansymposium.wordpress.com\/cfp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MDLS website<\/a> for more event information and to submit a proposal.
