An\u00a0<strong>in-person meeting<\/strong>\u00a0will take place <strong>in Boston, MA,\u00a0from Monday, November 6, to Thursday, November 9<\/strong>. There is also a\u00a0<strong>virtual option, from Tuesday, November 14, to Thursday, November 16<\/strong>. The theme this year is &#8220;150 Years of Creating the Healthiest Nation: Leading the Path Toward Equity&#8221;.\u00a0Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apha.org\/events-and-meetings\/annual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APHA Annual Meeting Website<\/a> for more information about the conference.<\/p>\n<p>The award will cover the cost of APHA membership and early-bird Conference registration. In addition, all librarians receive $300 to help offset the cost associated with travel, meetings with your mentor, child care, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The eligibility requirements are below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be a librarian or information specialist with an MLS\/MLIS or equivalent degree;<\/li>\n<li>work with or have accepted a librarian\/information specialist position that now includes, or will include in the near future, working with public health practitioners or PH\/PH-related students, staff, and faculty; and<\/li>\n<li>be a United States citizen or have permanent resident status (i.e., a holder of a green card)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For information about this award and full application details, please go <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/sewellstipend\/home\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline is\u00a0<strong>Friday, July 8, at 2:00 PM CDT<\/strong>.
