In addition to learning about new work in the field, attendees will have the opportunity to network and build partnerships with regional colleagues. It is open to all who wish to attend, including students, data managers, and data scientists.<\/p>\n<p>Registration will open soon; please watch for a link and more details in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call For Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference planning committee invites proposals for\u00a0virtual\u00a0workshops, short talks, and poster presentations for SEDLS 2022!\u00a0Check out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/se-datalibrarian.github.io\/2021\/program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last year&#8217;s program<\/a> to view abstracts, posters, and presentation recordings for an idea of content.<\/p>\n<p>Topics of interest include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using available tools for research data management<\/li>\n<li>Using data analysis and data visualization tools<\/li>\n<li>Data support for student research<\/li>\n<li>Addressing data literacy in the curriculum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit your proposal <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/4L1seC8eJh5nqZDJ7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> by<strong>\u00a0Friday, July 15.\u00a0<\/strong>Proposal abstracts will undergo blind peer review and proposers will be notified of programming decisions in mid-August.<\/p>\n<p>All questions should be directed to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:se.datalibrarian@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">se.datalibrarian@gmail.com<\/a>.
