With its origins in social justice and motivation to achieve equity in access, participation, and attainment for students and practitioners, open education has required significant work and commitment.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, as higher education has become more comfortable with the digital universe and the pandemic becomes endemic, it is time to examine the labor of open education. This year&#8217;s conference will explore the people and passion behind the success of OER over the last two decades.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opentexas.org\/cfp22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call for proposals<\/a>\u00a0is now open. Proposals must be submitted via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvent.com\/c\/abstracts\/88c4e9ca-21b0-45c3-bf1a-1425d1f0ae9a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cvent<\/a>\u00a0and are due on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, June 1<\/strong>.
