Take part in an exciting annual <strong>virtual<\/strong> event featuring colleagues from around the Midwest.\u00a0This year&#8217;s theme is the\u00a0Transformation of Librarianship. SLA membership is not required to submit, but topics should relate to special librarianship.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 SLA Midwest Symposium will take place on\u00a0<strong>Friday, June 10,\u00a0from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM CDT<\/strong>. You are invited to propose one (or both) of the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lightning talk (super-focused 10 minute talk on your topic)<\/li>\n<li>education session (30-60 min)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Presenters who have recently begun or\u00a0completed a project or\u00a0initiative, published an article or\u00a0blog post, or shifted their career in some way are especially encouraged to submit a proposal. Students are also invited to submit.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals are due\u00a0<strong>Monday, May 9<\/strong>.
