Registration is still open for the April\u00a0Online with the CMC\u00a0<\/em>webinar, “By any other name: NAF : Name Authority File ins and outs”. The webinar will take place on\u00a0Thursday, April 21, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM CDT<\/strong>.\u00a0The\u00a0presentation will cover the Name Authority File (NAF) including how NAF records operate in cataloging, what NAF record creation entails, insights on NACO training, and examples of name authority records. Mary Cornell will serve as the presenter.<\/p>\n

Please note that this is a different topic from the one originally planned<\/strong>.\u00a0Our previous topic was “Show and Tell: Strategies for basic book repair and preventive care”, which a previous Cataloging Maintenance Center\u00a0staff member planned to present.
