The conference brings together information professionals to improve their understanding of how to find, use, and share economic resources with colleagues, students, and patrons.<\/p>\n<p>Help us make 2022 the best conference yet by\u00a0joining our planning committee. The estimated time commitment is\u00a01-2 hours per month\u00a0until fall of 2022, plus attendance for the full span of the conference.\u00a0All planning will be done remotely.<\/p>\n<p>Committee members will serve as the review panel for conference submissions; help promote the conference to diverse economics, business, and data science communities; assist St. Louis Fed staff with keynote speaker selection, catering, and other key conference planning decisions; and serve as on-site hosts and moderators during the conference.\u00a0If selected, committee members who are unable to obtain funding from other sources will be reimbursed for usual and customary hotel and airfare expenses.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most important considerations for this year&#8217;s conference will be how to design an in-person gathering&#8211;for the first time since the start of the pandemic&#8211;that builds community while anticipating varied individual comfort levels with the return to a traditional conference format.<\/p>\n<p>We invite interested librarians and professionals to send a brief e-mail to conference coordinator Scott St. Louis, at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Scott.StLouis@stls.frb.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scott.StLouis@stls.frb.org<\/a>, with a brief biography and 1-2 sentences expressing your interest in participating.
