Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with the features and scope of several online statistics resources through the use of examples.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to complete the following tasks.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u200brecognize the differences between data, data sets, and statistics<\/li>\n<li>understand the 4-step process used to locate relevant health statistics for a particular circumstance or issue<\/li>\n<li>identify online resources that provide data sets and statistics at the local, state, and national level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon completion of the class, participants will be able to claim 1 MLA CE Credit.\u00a0Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) will be eligible for up to 1 total Category I contact education contact hours.\u00a0If you&#8217;re unable to attend, we will be recording the session.<\/p>\n<p>To register, please go <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/health-statistics-web-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
