{"id":14566,"date":"2022-01-03T20:37:02","date_gmt":"2022-01-03T20:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hsli.org\/?p=14566"},"modified":"2022-01-03T20:37:02","modified_gmt":"2022-01-03T20:37:02","slug":"reminder-submissions-for-march-2022-ila-reporter-issue-on-new-library-buildings-in-2021-due-thursday-january-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsli.org\/newsletter\/reminder-submissions-for-march-2022-ila-reporter-issue-on-new-library-buildings-in-2021-due-thursday-january-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Reminder: Submissions for March, 2022, ILA Reporter Issue on New Library Buildings in 2021 Due Thursday, January 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(via the Illinois Library Association)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a new year, and now is a great time to share your library&#8217;s 2021 renovations and new building by submitting your project to the <em>ILA Reporter&#8217;s<\/em> &#8220;Library Buildings 2021&#8221; article in the March, 2022, issue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Submissions should include the following.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>at least one high-resolution image of the exterior<\/li>\n<li>at least one high-resolution image of the interior<\/li>\n<li>name of the architect or architectural firm<\/li>\n<li>type of project-either &#8220;renovation\/expansion&#8221; or &#8220;new building&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>total cost<\/li>\n<li>service population<\/li>\n<li>name of the library director<\/li>\n<li>two-three quotes from patrons or users for a &#8220;What people are saying&#8221; section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Examples from past issues are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/vpn2.ilsos.net\/+CSCO+0075676763663A2F2F6A6A6A2E76796E2E626574++\/publications\/ila-reporter\/archive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ILA website archive page<\/a> (please see the March, 2020 and March, 2021 issues). The deadline for submissions is <strong>Thursday, January 20<\/strong>, and submissions should be sent via e-mail to ILA Administrative Coordinator Sarah Anderson, at <a href=\"mailto:sanderson@ila.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sanderson@ila.org<\/a>.
