Register <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accelevents.com\/e\/LAUCBConference2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Librarians&#8217; activities are embedded in and inherently tied to socio-political circumstances. This conference will emphasize and examine critical librarianship through the lens of social justice, diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racist work. Go <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accelevents.com\/e\/LAUCBConference2021#agenda\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for the program, which has more information on the conference schedule and content. Attendees are asked to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1oafX6s7QL6hqFqlxwMT-__douWGm67stqqY0szcrkDg\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conference code of conduct<\/a>\u00a0in advance of the conference.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We have an inspiring program lined up; keynote presentations will be delivered by\u00a0<strong>Dr.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Clara Chu,\u00a0from the University of Illinois at\u00a0Urbana-Champaign<\/strong>, and Lalitha Nataraj, from California State University, San Marcos.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We hope you will join us for what is sure to be an exciting and challenging event.\u00a0<strong>Please spread the word\u00a0<\/strong>and forward this e-mail to anyone you think may be interested!\u00a0 Our conference hashtag is\u00a0#laucb2021.\u00a0Also, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the committee members listed below.
