Each team can be made up of\u00a0between two and five\u00a0library workers, and a full scholarship will be awarded to one team from a minority-serving institution.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>share and learn from other groups, and define their own team norms and processes for moving forward with change<\/li>\n<li>complete a project plan and a communication plan for their change by the end of the program<\/li>\n<li>be able to succinctly describe the change process and need to a variety of stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>gain a community of practice that they can continue to engage with after the end of the cohort<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Fostering Change Cohort hopes to build a community of change agents in academic libraries, armed with the tools to spark, lead, and sustain change no matter your organizational position and with a network of peers to lean on as you embark on your change process.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more in the <em>ACRL Presents<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t2rBzJJiVj4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">webcast<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;<em>ACRL Presents<\/em>: Introducing the Fostering Change Cohort&#8221;, and\u00a0register <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ala.org\/acrl\/fosteringchangecohort\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about the Fostering Change Cohort should be directed to Erin Nevius,\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:enevius@ala.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enevius@ala.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(via David Free, ACRL) Register by\u00a0Monday,\u200b September 13, to join the first cohort of institutional teams planning their change process!
