This year&#8217;s event will take place entirely online, <strong>from Wednesday, October 27, to Friday, October 29<\/strong>. The theme is &#8220;Building Bridges: Dialogue, Deliberation &amp; Connection in Academic Libraries&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage thoughtful, timely proposals from all areas of library work. Adherence to the Conference theme is encouraged, but not required.<\/p>\n<p>Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Civic engagement<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration<\/li>\n<li>Dialogue<\/li>\n<li>Libraries as space\/third space<\/li>\n<li>Instruction modalities &amp; virtual libraries<\/li>\n<li>Misinformation<\/li>\n<li>Service changes\/transitions<\/li>\n<li>Emerging technology solutions<\/li>\n<li>Crisis management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One proposal form will be used for all presentation types.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presentation (or other 50-minute session)<\/li>\n<li>Poster Session (brief, pre-recorded session)<\/li>\n<li>Lightning talk (brief live session)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a unique format idea, not listed above, please submit it under the presentation option (Panel discussions, etc&#8230; )<\/p>\n<p>To submit a proposal, please go <a href=\"https:\/\/tinyurl.com\/alao2021submissions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.
