{"id":13101,"date":"2021-03-13T19:41:48","date_gmt":"2021-03-13T19:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hsli.org\/?p=13101"},"modified":"2021-03-13T19:41:48","modified_gmt":"2021-03-13T19:41:48","slug":"call-for-proposals-9th-annual-carli-instruction-showcase-online-fri-may-21-deadline-mon-april-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hsli.org\/newsletter\/call-for-proposals-9th-annual-carli-instruction-showcase-online-fri-may-21-deadline-mon-april-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Proposals: 9th Annual CARLI Instruction Showcase (Online Fri., May 21)&#8211;Deadline Mon., April 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(via Debbie Campbell, CARLI)<\/p>\n<p>The CARLI Instruction Committee is seeking presentation proposals for the 9th annual Instruction Showcase, held virtually on <strong>Friday, May 21<\/strong>.\u00a0CARLI members are welcome to submit proposals on all library instruction topics, and are encouraged to draw inspiration from the committee&#8217;s theme this year, &#8220;Virtual Realities: The Challenges and Potential of Online Instruction&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson plans related to this theme might include new approaches to teaching virtually, recommended tools or innovative techniques for engaging students online, or reimagined instruction for improved accessibility and inclusion.\u00a0Proposals should outline an instruction session activity that supports skills-based or conceptual learning and encourages active student participation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please include a full lesson plan with your proposal.
