Registration is now open for the RDAP (Research Data Access & Preservation Association) 2021 virtual summit! This year’s theme is “Radical Change and Data”, and the event will take place March 10-12 (Wednesday-Friday), on Zoom. Registration for the summit is $30, and additional workshops are $10<\/p>\n
We are also offering scholarships to attend the Summit and applications are open now. More information about scholarships is included below and is also on the website<\/a>.\u00a0The full summit schedule will be posted on the website soon, but a general outline of events is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n Through a joint effort from the Sponsorship and Conference Action Committees, scholarships are available to cover registration for the Research Data Access & Preservation Summit 2021.\u00a0Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend the Summit and compose a blog post about their conference experience to be posted on the RDAP website. Scholarship winners are also strongly encouraged to write up their RDAP conference experience as a commentary for the JeSLIB RDAP 2021 Special Issue.<\/p>\n Please submit your application by Friday, February 19<\/strong>, through the online scholarship application form<\/a>. The application should include a personal statement no longer than 1600 characters (roughly 250 words) describing a bit about yourself and how attending the Summit will inform your scholarship or practice.
