The 2021 National Program Committee invites abstract submissions that support the annual meeting theme, “Transforming Our Diversifying Communities.” The MLA ’21 call for posters and lightning talks<\/a>\u00a0is now open and will remain open until Tuesday, February 9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Posters and lightning talks are great ways to share information about research or programs. Submitters must choose a primary area of practice that relates to the submission. The relevant MLA Areas of Practice are Clinical Support, Education, Global Health & Health Equity, Information Management, Information Services, Innovation & Research Practice, and Professionalism & Leadership.<\/p>\n Like papers, posters and lightning talks can be submitted as program descriptions or as research submissions. They require a structured abstract, and more information about structured abstracts can be found at “The Structured Abstract: An Essential Tool for Researchers”<\/a>.\u00a0If you have submitted a paper that was not accepted, consider resubmitting the topic as a poster or a five-minute lightning talk.<\/p>\n Find more information on the submission process at “MLA ’21 FAQ: Papers, Posters, Lightning Talks, and Immersion Sessions”<\/a>.
